Oxford Diecast 76RR3003 - Range Rover 3rd Generation Metropolitan Police

In real life Land Rover Range Rover introduced their 3^rd Generation Range Rover in 2002 and it remained in production until 2012. The 5-door SUV was planned and developed under BMW ownership and was also known as the L322, sharing many BMW high end vehicle components and systems. It came with a petrol engine and was only available as an automatic. It would also have had a 5-speed automatic gearbox, which by 2010 had risen to 8-speed versions in some markets.

For its third Oxford outing in 1:76 scale, it is registered DV03 DFU from 2003 and appears in a rich dark blue with black exterior masking and silver trim. The interior is black with cream seating. An additional detail comprises its high spec status confirmed with the silver HSE (High Specification Equipment) lettering printed to the right of the rear number plate.
